Leaving replies on accounts with large followings is the most effective way to grow on Twitter. When you reply to someone else’s tweet, you’re leveraging their audience to increase your visibility.

However, there’s a right and a wrong way to do this. Don’t spam meaningless comments like, “Nice work” or Good job!” Make sure you’re contributing something valuable to the topic at hand. If you can give value and position yourself as a go-to thought leader in your category, other users will be impressed with what you shared and throw you a quick follow.
